Birgunj- Journalists Pratap Shrestha and Tulasi Bhandari have bagged the 'Gopal Giri Active Journalism Award', 2077 and 2078 BS respectively. Established by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Parsa, the award carries a purse of Rs 25,000.
Birgunj Metropolis mayor Bijaya Kumar Sarawagi handed the award and certificates to Shrestha and Bhandari amid a function here on Saturday.
Shrestha is editor of Pratik Daily and Bhandari is affiliated with Rajdhani Daily.
