Kathmandu- The Government is administering Vitamin ‘A ‘ capsules and deworming tablets to children across the country.
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed around 2.7 million children from six months to 5 years old across the country would be administered with Vitamin ‘A’ capsules on Sunday and Monday under the National Vitamin ‘A’ Programme.
Meanwhile, deworming tables would be administered to children from 12 months to 5 years old children.
The government has been running the Vitamin ‘A’ Programme since 2050 BS to minimize the risk of health complications and malnutrition among children.
