Doti- The High Court, Dipayal, has sentenced life time imprisonment to Member of Parliament (MP) Reshamlal Chaudhary on his connection to Tikapur carnage.
In a hearing taken place till Thursday night, the High Court seconded the verdict of the Kailali District Court to slap life imprisonment on MP Chaudhary and seven other persons.
Laxman Tharu has also got the life imprisonment. Prior to this, the Kailali District Court had released Tharu on bail.
