Kathmandu- Nepal has reported a fourth COVID-19 case.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the 34-year-old man who had recently returned from Dubai has tested positive for COVID-19.
He is currently undergoing treatment at Seti Zonal Hospital in Dhangadi, Spokesperson Bikash Devkota said during a press briefing on Friday.
It is the first case reported outside Kathmandu Valley.
“He had returned from Dubai. We are getting detailed information about him,” Spokesperson Devkota said, “He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. His swab sample was tested at National Public Health Laboratory which came out to be positive.
Earlier, a Nepali girl arriving in Nepal from France via Qatar transit and a man from Dubai had tested positive for coronavirus.
They are currently undergoing treatment at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku and their health condition is normal, Spokesperson Devkota said.
