Rupandehi- A person died in a road accident in Rupandehi this morning. The deceased has been identified as Ajit Salami Thapa, 28, of Sainamaina municipality-4.
The accident took place when a scooter (Lu 36 Pa 4314) he was riding collided with a car (Lu 1 Cha 1588) heading towards Butwal from west at Pakhapani of Butwal-2 along east-west highway, said Information Officer at State Traffic Police Office, Butwal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ram Prakash Shah.
Similarly, two pillion riders Sanjay Patel and Bikram Tharu of Sainamaina municipality- 3 - were injured in the incident and their condition is normal.
