Kawaswoti- Two persons died when a truck knocked a motorbike at Kawaswoti-8 in Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway this morning.
The accident took place when Butwal-bound truck (Lu 2 Kha 10) from Narayangarh hit the motorbike (Lu 49 Pa 3625).
In the accident, motorbike rider Milan Bhattarai, 27, of Devdaha municipality-7, Rupandehi and Tara Pokharel, 33, pillion rider died. Critically injured Bhattarai and Pokharel died while being treated at Kaligandaki Hospital Kawaswoti, shared Arjun Ranabhat, Deputy Superintended of Police (DSP) at Nawalpur.
